Badge Creation

This is my second mini assignment for Moton Graphics module. I'm required to create a badge with the class name on it, MG32.

I sketched it out did some editing in Photoshop on my laptop.

By the way, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 just came out today!

I'm not really a fan of CoD but personally I'm impressed with both the campaign and the storyline. The only two mainstream games which I'd definitely spend my money on every year are Infinity Ward's Call of Duty series and the Assassin Creed series. Despite the Infinity Ward/ Activision conflict, most reviews and ratings of the latest Modern Warfare 3 release are very positive so I'm kinda happy, since I was worried that the conflict would affect the production.

First Assignment

This is my first assignment for the semester.

Module: Motion Graphics

Assignment: Use my most desired font-style to design my name. Printing out of fonts is not allowed, only hand-drawn.

I've started and completed the assignment within today.

Of course I had some breaks in the midst of doing work.

Mostly just cutting, pasting and drawing out silhouettes.

I've finished my assignment for the Advanced Character Rigging too, thanks to my current experience in Project New World which allowed me to be one step ahead of the module.

First Day of the Last

Alas! Back to school for our final semester in our final year.

To be honest I'm pretty hyped about this whole semester.

For us, be it visual effects artists or animators, modules are never boring.

For me, it's what I love most, my passion. (:

Animation, effects and creating action films!

Somehow, I've got a feeling this is gonna be one helluva exciting semester!

Choices

Ever since the 20th of September, I've been rejecting a lot of invitations to hang out, play and spend time with friends, cousins and everybody. Thus I shall apologize to everyone for my selfishness.

Please don't get the wrong idea, I'm definitely not an introvert.

When I set my mind to a project, I will make sure I see through it all the way to the end with unending impulsive motivation. Project New World especially, as the story I wrote in it means a lot to me.

That's not the real reason however.
This is.

I have a very important mission starting very soon, which I have to complete by the end of this month. Since my schedule will be extremely packed very soon, I need to work on my current projects as much as I can now.

Nope, it's not another project. In fact it's more important than any of the projects I'm currently working on.

Plans for another Project?

Yesterday I met my buddy Suzanne. We decided to collaborate and work on new project.

This project would aid our preparations for one of our upcoming modules, Motion Graphics.

So yeah you guessed it, our project is gonna be about motion graphics.

It will be a stylized music video with crazy random imaginative stuff going on in it. We've come up with a couple of ideas for our shots so far. Also, we did a bit of filming and photography yesterday.

We have pretty decent skills in art and photoshop so I think this project might go along quite well.

Looks like if I participate in this project, I must be prepared to juggle 3 projects altogether:

1) Project New World: Solo

2) Project Dead Punk: Shunhao and I

3) Project Messi: Suzanne and I

I'm confident I can pull through all three projects. I just gotta set my mind to it. For now I shall limit myself to a maximum of three projects.

Okay let's await the launch of Project Messi.
